Meet Dr. Tom Wollschlager
Our philosophy is to treat our patients like our own family, and to give them a sense of added comfort they might not find anywhere else. My personal promise is to provide the utmost care and compassion while respecting the dignity of all my patients.
Education and Continuing Education
I grew up in Tallahassee, watched my dad practice dentistry, and saw how he helped his patients. From a young age, I thought being a dentist was the best thing one could be. I attended Florida State University for my undergraduate degree, and the University of Florida for my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I do have a little fun being bi-collegiate: giving FSU fans a hard time about UF and vice versa!
By actively participating in continuing education, I am able to stay current on the latest technology and dental treatments. My patients deserve the best, and continuing education enables me to provide my patients with more options and better results.
The dental field has changed faster in the past 20 years than in the previous 100. Being mechanically inclined, I have always loved new tools and toys, and as a dentist, I get to add these new technologies to our office. This enables me to provide some of the most advanced and innovative services and techniques, and help our patients live with confidence.

Family and Community
I met my wife the year before starting dental school; we have been together three decades. Our children and grandchildren are amazing, beautiful, and my greatest blessing. Our current children at home include a Chinese Crested and a Toy Poodle.
When I get a little free time, I enjoy traveling in our RV, fishing, spending time with grandchildren, and, when at home, always working on one project or another. I love taking the grandkids to the campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. When it is just my wife and me, we enjoy visiting the Keys.
I am blessed to be part of such a wonderful community, and I believe strongly in giving back to those who have given so much to me over the years. I do pro bono dental work for several local organizations, support local students, and sponsor and donate to local charities.
